Center Hotel Narita 1 has replaced all in-room artwork with photographs by Charlie Furusho, a Narita-based aviation photographer who has been capturing the skies around Narita International Airport for over 30 years.
The refresh was completed in spring 2026. Furusho contributed a specially curated lineup spanning 11 categories — Cockpit, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Sunset, Night Views, Window Views, Sky, Airplane Parts, and Overseas Airports — covering every floor and all 130 rooms in the hotel.

The project was born from a desire for travelers arriving in Narita to be able to experience "the sky of Narita" even from inside their rooms. Furusho, who has longstanding ties to the Narita community, provided the full 130-piece lineup especially for this initiative.
The collaboration reflects the hotel's philosophy of delivering enjoyment to arriving guests and joy to those departing — a community-rooted art project connecting a local photographer and the hotel.
