Depart Ryubo is holding a limited-time pop-up shop, "Chiikawa Bakery OKINAWA POP UP SHOP," at its 6th floor event space from Thursday, October 1 through Monday, October 12, 2026 — the first time the shop has come to Okinawa.
Chiikawa Bakery is a Chiikawa-themed bakery that has opened at Tokyu Plaza Omotesando's "Omokado" and the commercial facility "KITTE Osaka," earning a loyal following. This time, the pop-up shop will bring an assortment of Chiikawa Bakery's original goods and breads to Depart Ryubo, the only department store in Okinawa Prefecture.
The event will feature adorable character-shaped shokupan (sandwich bread) along with a wide range of original bakery goods. Also making a special appearance is an Okinawa store-exclusive item: "Chiikawa Shokupan (Brown Sugar)," kneaded with Okinawan brown sugar.
