Pop-up Stores to Open in Tokyo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka
Applibot Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Mitsuki Ukita) has announced that the first official merchandise collection for "Chiikawa Pocket," the first smartphone app based on the popular "Chiikawa" series, will go on sale starting January 16, 2026 (Friday). Pop-up stores will also open in five locations nationwide: Tokyo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
This app is a smartphone game based on the popular manga series "Chiikawa" posted on X (formerly Twitter) by illustrator Nagano. With the concept of "Always together with Chiikawa wherever you go," the app is packed with gameplay that lets users experience the world of "Chiikawa." The app has been available since March 27, 2025 (Thursday) in 43 countries and regions worldwide, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and the United States.
◆ First Official Merchandise for Chiikawa Pocket to Launch on January 16, 2026 (Friday)!
Starting January 16, 2026 (Friday), the first official merchandise collection for "Chiikawa Pocket" will be released. The motifs for this collection are "Picnic Costumes" and "Edo Costumes." Some of the official merchandise has been unveiled in a new video. Please look forward to the release.
