The rose garden at Chikozan Park's Urban Greening Botanical Garden (622 Kashiwabara, Sayama City) is reaching its spring peak. The garden primarily features Hybrid Tea Roses (remontant large-flowered varieties) and sees two flowering peaks each year — in spring and autumn.
Spring roses are known for their lush, full-bodied blooms that give the entire garden a gorgeous, flower-covered appearance. In addition to Hybrid Tea Roses, the garden also features remontant medium-flowered varieties, climbing roses, miniature roses, landscape roses, and English roses — approximately 80 varieties and 700 bushes in total.

Along the garden's paths, many strongly scented varieties — both "strong fragrance" and "medium fragrance" types — have been planted, allowing visitors to enjoy both vibrant colors and sweet aromas.
As of May 13, the garden is at its first spring peak.
