Coamix Inc. (headquartered in Musashino, Tokyo) is releasing volume 1 of "Doom: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Danzairoku" (story by Kei Koga, art by Shinou Ryo) on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. To mark the launch, bookstores across Japan are holding a joint fair with the series' predecessor, "Brutal: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Kokuhaku," which has sold 3.5 million copies and continues to go back for reprints.
A New Dark Hero Takes the Stage
壇浩輝 is an elite police officer who deals out his own brutal, stylish judgment on villains the law can't reach. His charisma and dark appeal drew a large following for "Brutal: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Kokuhaku," and its long-awaited sequel has finally arrived.
For "Doom: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Danzairoku," illustrator Shinou Ryo, known for popular BL manga, takes over the art, giving 壇浩輝 even more seductive intensity and menace. The dramatic artwork depicting each villain's beautiful yet merciless "judgment" is hard to look away from.
Volume 1 Launch Fair: Get a Limited "Cheki-Style" Card
To celebrate the release of volume 1, participating bookstores nationwide are holding a joint fair with "Brutal: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Kokuhaku." Customers who purchase either "Doom: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Danzairoku" or "Brutal: Satsujin Keisatsukan no Kokuhaku" at a participating store will receive a "壇浩輝 Cheki-Style Collectible Card" as a bonus.
