A stationery and goods series based on the long-selling picture book The Very Hungry Caterpillar (published by Kaiseisha / 偕成社) goes on sale from Gakken Stayful (学研ステイフル) on Thursday, November 12, 2026.
The Japanese edition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar is celebrating its 50th anniversary, with exhibitions and other events generating excitement. The new series turns the world of Eric Carle, known for its colorful palette and distinctive collage style, into stationery that can be used in everyday life.
Motifs from the book, such as the caterpillar, fruit, and doughnuts, are designed in vivid colors. The items can be used in a variety of situations, including decorating planners and notebooks, jotting down notes, and as a companion for reading.
