FamilyMart is launching a special campaign featuring Pokémon Frienda collectibles at approximately 16,400 stores nationwide starting December 16, 2025. This marks the first time the convenience store chain has offered prizes through bread purchases.

Pokémon Frienda is the latest kids' amusement machine where players battle Pokémon, catch them, and collect "Frienda Picks" dispensed from the arcade cabinet.
Salamence (Mega Salamence) Special Frienda Pick
During the campaign period, customers who purchase three qualifying bread items will receive one "Special Frienda Pick" featuring either Salamence (Mega Salamence) or Metagross (Mega Metagross). Each collectible features exclusive original artwork designed specifically for this campaign. When players insert these picks into the Pokémon Frienda arcade machine, the corresponding Pokémon appears in the game. Additionally, successfully completing an in-game mini-game allows these Pokémon to Mega Evolve into their powerful forms.

About Pokémon Frienda
Pokémon Frienda is a kids' amusement arcade machine developed by toy manufacturer Takara Tomy Arts and game developer Marvelous. Players battle Pokémon, catch them, and collect "Frienda Picks" dispensed from the cabinet. The game launched on July 11, 2024, at amusement facilities and game centers nationwide.
The machine features a "Twin Cabinet" design that allows two players to play simultaneously. When "Tag Play" (simultaneous play) occurs, the screens of adjacent players connect, creating a large-scale battle experience using two large monitors mounted on the top and center of the cabinet. The center monitor (player hand area) includes a touchscreen, allowing game visuals and touch operations to work together for an intuitive and immersive gaming experience.
