Fragrance brand FERNANDA Japan is launching a limited-edition "Lychee Collection" on April 17, 2026. The lineup spans 20 items, all centered around the juicy, refreshing sweetness of lychee — a fresh scent to welcome the early summer season.
A Sustainable Fragrance Born from Rare Japanese Lychee
Domestically grown lychee accounts for just 1% of lychee in circulation in Japan. The "Shintomi Lychee" — a specialty of Shintomi Town, Miyazaki Prefecture — has been carefully cultivated over more than a decade with meticulous growing practices to bring out the best flavor possible.
Despite the care that goes into growing these fruits, some lychee cannot be shipped due to cosmetic imperfections or size specifications and would otherwise go to waste. For this collection, FERNANDA Japan has extracted an ingredient from these "loss fruits" produced in Shintomi Town, incorporating it as an "upcycled lychee fruit extract" (a moisturizing ingredient) in all products. The result is a fragrance line that makes thoughtful use of nature's gifts.
New Items Added to This Year's Lineup
This year's Lychee Collection introduces two new additions: a "Mini Fragrance Set" and a "Premium Hair Mist."
The Mini Fragrance Set pairs a compact 12.5 ml eau de parfum with a mini-sized premium hand cream (20 g) — making it suitable both as a personal trial option and as a gift. The Premium Hair Mist allows the scent to be enjoyed through hair care while also providing UV protection, a welcome feature for the warmer months ahead.

The fragrance layers juicy lychee as its base with fruity chamomile and a fresh, lightly sweet muscat note, creating a fruit-forward scent that gently announces the change of season.
