"Godzilla VS Gorilla no Futatsukami -Godzilla Gyakushu-" (ゴジラVSゴリラのふたつかみ -ゴジラ逆襲-), a care appliance for both the calves and the thighs, goes on sale at Don Quijote group stores nationwide from November 17 (Tuesday). Made by Doshisha Co., Ltd., it is the second collaboration product between the company's Gorilla series and the film Godzilla Minus Zero, which is released on November 3 (Tuesday, national holiday).
The base model, "Gorilla no Futatsukami" (ゴリラのふたつかみ), was developed after the popularity of the calf care appliance "Gorilla no Hitotsukami" (ゴリラのひとつかみ). It is a 2-way model that can be used on both the calves and the thighs. When it is in use, eight air bags inflate and compress the calves or thighs from all sides. "Gorilla no Futatsukami" is one of the more popular products in the Gorilla series, and it now comes in a special model created in collaboration with Godzilla Minus Zero.
Features
A "G (Godzilla) Button" Added
This model adds a new "G (Godzilla) button" to the standard "Gorilla no Futatsukami." In normal mode, the intensity can be adjusted in three levels: low, medium and high. Pressing the G (Godzilla) button delivers even stronger pressure than the normal "high" setting.
Users can choose whether to be gripped by the gorilla or by Godzilla, enjoying a different strength of pressure to suit their mood and preference.
Godzilla Dorsal Fin-Style Parts Included
In addition to the two "Pokopoko parts" (ぽこぽこパーツ), which feature eight protrusions and come with the standard "Gorilla no Futatsukami," this model includes two "Godzilla dorsal fin-style parts." The parts can be attached to the hook-and-loop fasteners on the back of the unit, placed on the area where stronger stimulation is wanted, such as the thighs. Combining the air bag compression with the protrusions of the parts gives a pleasantly painful sensation, as if being gripped by Godzilla.
Charcoal Gray Color and Original Patch
The body is charcoal gray, inspired by the color of Godzilla's skin. A patch featuring the design of Godzilla's tail from Godzilla Minus Zero is also attached, giving the product a collaboration-specific look.
Powered by USB Type-A
The unit accepts power via USB Type-A, so it can be powered from an AC adapter, a mobile battery or similar. It can be used even where there is no outlet nearby, which is handy in offices and while traveling. An AC adapter and a mobile battery are not included.
Easy-to-Attach Hook-and-Loop Fastener
The unit uses a hook-and-loop fastener so that anyone can use it with ease. It can be put on simply by wrapping it around the leg. The guide tag on the inside, which shows where to position the unit, is decorated with a gorilla illustration.
Lightweight Single-Leg Design
The single-leg design keeps the main unit light at 336 g. It folds up for compact storage when not in use, so finding space for it is not a problem.
10-Minute Auto-Off Timer
The unit stops automatically 10 minutes after it is switched on. The 10-minute duration is based on the time typically spent on a face pack or skincare after a bath, making it easy to fit into a daily routine alongside other care.
Packaging Featuring Godzilla
The package shows a gorilla bracing with both hands to take on an attacking Godzilla.
About the Gorilla Series
The Gorilla series has surpassed 4 million units in cumulative sales (the combined total of the company's and related products from February 2024 to the end of July 2026). Starting with the calf care appliance "Gorilla no Hitotsukami," the series uses a gorilla character, "impact design" and a dash of fun to offer products that respond to real-world needs.
