Gong Cha, the global tea café chain, is opening its first-ever location inside Haneda Airport, "Gong Cha Haneda Airport Terminal 2," on July 10, 2026 (Friday).
A Cup for the Start and End of Every Journey
For many visitors, Haneda Airport is the first place in Japan they set foot in, making it one of the country's key gateways to and from the rest of the world. It is also Japan's busiest airport by annual passenger volume. The new store greets travelers at both the beginning and end of their trip with a drink suited to the moment and comfortable hospitality.
Since launching in Japan in 2015, Gong Cha has grown to around 200 locations nationwide, building on strong support for its approach of making high-quality tea accessible in a casual style. Each drink can be customized to individual taste, and the brand is known for its welcoming service and comfortable spaces for conversation.
Alongside its drinks, the new store will also offer cakes, donuts, egg tarts, and other sweets, as well as original Gong Cha merchandise. A lineup of flavors available only in Japan will also be on hand, giving international visitors a taste of something distinctly Japanese alongside their drink.
