CAVE Interactive Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yuki Takahashi; Securities Code: 3760) has launched "Midsummer Memories -Underworld Illusion Resort-," the second installment of a major summer event, in their shooting game app Gothic wa Mahou Otome (commonly abbreviated "Gomaotsu"), starting August 10, 2026 (Monday).
A lineup from the ongoing 2026 Summer Campaign is also introduced below.
Campaigns Celebrating the Summer Event Are Underway
Welcome Login Bonus for New Masters
From July 30 (Thursday) through August 30 (Sunday), new Masters can receive a welcome login bonus of 100 Holy Stones, which can be used for gacha and other purposes.

Login Bonus Grants Gacha Tickets!
Starting August 10 (Monday), the event login bonus will give out Summer Jumbo Tickets — usable for the "Summer Jumbo Share Box Gacha" containing Holy Stones and limit break items — as well as gacha tickets for the "Summer Beach Akuma Gacha."
The "Summer Beach Akuma Gacha" also includes 【Sanmi】series familiars, the same ones featured in the "Summer Beach Akuma Step-Up Gacha."

Among those who repost the campaign's target post and share a summer memory, a summer-themed photo, or a photo taken on the special page — with the campaign hashtags attached — one winner each will be chosen by lottery to receive an "Otome / Akuma / School Otome Can Badge Set."

To mark the campaign, a special page is open where you can freely arrange illustrations of the 5 Otome and 5 Akuma in swimsuits and take photos.

This Summer, the Akuma Investigate "The Mystery of the Resort's Illusion"!
The major summer event is being held in three installments, featuring the 5 Otome, 5 Akuma, and School Otome in turn.
As the second installment, the event "Midsummer Memories -Underworld Illusion Resort-," centered on the 5 Akuma — Digitalis, Lily, ルチカ, Kalmia, and Datura — is now underway.
A "paradise even the dead would want to return to" has appeared—.
Chasing a mysterious rumor, 真少年 and the Akuma sisters visit the ruins of an abandoned magical device research facility.
But all that spreads before them is a cluster of desolate ruins.
Nothing resembling a "paradise" is anywhere to be found.
While everyone grows suspicious, Digitalis, who had been investigating alone, suddenly lets out a scream.
When 真少年 and the others rush over...
A blue sea and white sandy beach stretch out before them!
Though bewildered, the Akuma sisters each begin enjoying the sea in their own way, while 真少年 is swept up in it all.
But at this point, none of them yet know the bittersweet truth hidden within this "paradise"—.
Collect the Event Item "Shaved Ice"!
By collecting "Shaved Ice," an item dropped when clearing event stages, players can obtain the 5 Akuma in swimsuits from the 【Teruumi】series.
On the event's special page, players can also use a "Something Like a Crowbar," obtained based on the number of Shaved Ice collected, to play a watermelon-splitting game.
Splitting the watermelon rewards items such as Holy Stones and gacha tickets, and completing the challenge grants a group familiar featuring all 5 Akuma, among other rewards.
