This year's theme is "The Secret Christmas Party" (聖夜を彩る、ひみつのクリスマスパーティー, "a secret Christmas party that brightens the holy night"). Seven Concourse Windows turn into giant snow globes with falling snow. They show Christmas parties around the world that only Santa Claus knows about, from deep in the forest to the bottom of the deep sea, above the clouds, and in the city.

Set to Christmas song BGM, the production switches from "still" to "in motion" about every 8 minutes. Many companions start to move, and a show of light and sound begins. Visitors can also look out for the tricks Santa Claus has hidden in the windows.

Collaboration Again This Year: "Lumière Ribbon Illumination" at Osaka Umeda Twin Towers North

At the 1st-floor "Concourse" of Osaka Umeda Twin Towers North, the Christmas illumination "Lumière Ribbon Illumination: Connect, Be Connected, Light and Hearts" (Lumière Ribbon Illumination つなぐ、つながる、光と心。) takes place as a collaboration again this year.

On the theme of the Christmas gift ("GIFT"), the ribbon tied around a Christmas present is expressed with about 75,000 LEDs, the most ever. Linked light and sound effects wrap the whole concourse space in an experience of emotion and surprise.

Christmas Main Art

The symbol of this year's Christmas is a wreath drawn with a single pen, expressing the warmth of hearts drawing close. Cute animals that bring a smile to the face, such as pigeons, squirrels, turtles, and starfish, overlap one another.
