Spring Festival "Haruyashiki 2026" Opens at Asakusa Hanayashiki with Family and Student Discounts

Asakusa Hanayashiki, Japan's oldest amusement park located in Tokyo's Taito Ward, is holding "Haruyashiki 2026" from March 20 (Friday/public holiday) to April 5 (Sunday), 2026. Visitors can enjoy a variety of spring activities surrounded by cherry blossoms and seasonal flowers.

The Somei Yoshino cherry trees within the park, some over 70 years old, typically reach full bloom from late March to early April, making it a great spot for hanami (flower viewing) while enjoying the rides and events.

Event Overview

① Rooftop Area "Hana Sora Garden" Reopens – March 20

The park's rooftop area is reopening as "Hana Sora Garden," featuring 87 varieties of flowers and greenery — a nod to the park's name ("hana" meaning flower). From the rooftop, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the park and Senso-ji Temple, making it a popular photography spot. Entry to the garden is free (park admission required).

To celebrate the reopening, the first 250 guests on March 20 will receive a spring flower as a gift (while supplies last).
