Marimocraft (headquartered in Koto-ku, Tokyo) will sell collaboration goods between sign language art artist Hidehiko Kado and Sanrio's character Hello Kitty at a limited-time pop-up store "HELLO KITTY × SMILE TALKING HANDS POP UP SHOP." The pop-up store will operate from Thursday, November 6, 2025 to Wednesday, November 19 at "Chara Colle" inside Shibuya Sakura Stage.
This marks the first collaboration between Hidehiko Kado, a sign language art artist who is a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) with deaf parents, and Hello Kitty. The pop-up will feature T-shirts, tote bags, stickers, and other items with pop designs combining sign language and Hello Kitty. In addition to the collaboration items, products from Kado Hidehiko's brand "Smile Talking Hands" will also be available.
Customers who purchase 3,300 yen or more (tax included) per transaction will receive one "Can Magnet (3 types)" at random as a gift (while supplies last).
Additionally, on the opening day of November 6 (Thursday), a live painting performance by sign language art artist Hidehiko Kado is scheduled to take place.
