Hida Takayama Experience Exchange Hall Festival to Be Held in October 2025

The Hida Takayama Town Experience Exchange Hall opened in July 2018 as a place for interaction between citizens and tourists, with the purpose of promoting traditional culture and local industries. Inside the facility, which utilizes historically valuable buildings, visitors can experience the charm of Japanese culture and Takayama through traditional craft demonstrations and hands-on workshops.

Since its opening, with the cooperation of many demonstration and workshop instructors, the hall has welcomed numerous visitors throughout the year. Through these experiences, people of all ages, from children to adults, can learn about local culture while having fun.

This year, to promote the use of the exchange plaza and raise awareness of the workshop menu, the "Hida Takayama Town Experience Exchange Hall Festival" is being held twice, in spring and autumn. This article introduces the autumn (October) festival.

The event promises to be a special day where visitors can experience the warmth of the region's traditions and people. We encourage you to visit the Hida Takayama Town Experience Exchange Hall and enjoy the autumn festival.
