Hobby Japan Co., Ltd. (Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Daisuke Matsushita) is releasing Trading Card Museum Vol.1: My-HiME 20th Anniversary on Friday, July 10, 2026 — the first entry in its new trading card line, Trading Card Museum. The set is themed around My-HiME, the popular anime that recently marked its 20th anniversary.
To celebrate the launch, Hobby Japan is also running a giveaway campaign on its official X (formerly Twitter) account starting July 3 (Friday), offering fans a chance to win the product by lottery.
A New Kind of Trading Card
The first release in the Trading Card Museum line spotlights My-HiME. Each box contains a fixed set of 35 regular cards plus one randomly inserted card. The regular cards feature character introduction cards for the series' 12 HiME as well as select licensed illustrations. Every insert card carries a serial number, and boxes rarely include hand-drawn sketch cards from animators of the era or autograph cards signed by cast members.
