Fuji-Q Highland (Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture) will host the Sun Hoseki Fair in Fuji-Q Highland for three days, from Thursday, August 13 to Saturday, August 15, 2026 — the first-ever collaboration between the park and Sun Hoseki's Yamanashi-born character Hoppe-chan.
The event brings together Sun Hoseki, a Yamanashi-born brand that has long delivered "affordable and cute" accessories and goods to children nationwide through mail order, with Fuji-Q Highland for a special project with ties to Yamanashi. A Sun Hoseki pop-up shop will appear inside the amusement park during the event, selling accessories, stationery, and small goods alongside items related to Sun Hoseki's popular original character, Hoppe-chan. The lineup of collaboration content also includes a Hoppe-chan Shibori Workshop where guests can make their own Hoppe-chan, a Hoppe-chan Greeting where guests can take photos with the character, and a present campaign offering an event-exclusive Fuji-Q collaboration Hoppe-chan.
