Izu Shaboten Zoo (operated by Izu Shaboten Park Co., Ltd., headquartered in Ito, Shizuoka; President Kenji Kagoike) and IZUKYU CORPORATION (headquartered in Ito, Shizuoka; President Eiichi Shimizu) are releasing a second round of limited collaboration merchandise pairing the zoo's popular capybara with Resort 21, IZUKYU CORPORATION's flagship train.
The new mascot features a capybara riding on top of a Resort 21 car in a cute design, with the capybara's expression differing between the Kurofune Train version and the Kinme Train version.
The mascots are available exclusively as crane game prizes (¥100 per play) inside GIFT SHOP Animal Mart at Izu Shaboten Zoo and at a crane game machine set up inside IZUKYU CORPORATION's Izu-Kogen Station.
