At the "Natsu da! Umi da! Mochimeow Natsu Matsuri" event held at the Seibu Shibuya Store Building A 2F event space from Wednesday, July 1 to Monday, August 3, 2026, a limited-edition "Guifei Lychee Cake" (貴妃のライチケーキ) is set to go on sale — a collaboration between popular Taiwanese character Mochimeow and KAISHII (開璽), a veteran Taiwanese confectionery brand approaching its 100th anniversary in 2027. The cake will be sold in special Mochimeow packaging.
A Modern Take on a Fruit Loved by Yang Guifei
Lychee, one of Taiwan's representative fruits, has long been known as "the fruit beloved by Yang Guifei."
The Guifei Lychee Cake uses fragrant, juicy Taiwanese lychee in abundance. Based on the traditional pineapple cake manufacturing technique, it highlights the floral aroma and refined sweetness of lychee, resulting in a new-sensation sweet for adults that sets it apart from conventional pineapple cakes.
It pairs well with black tea and Taiwanese tea, making it a perfect treat for a special teatime.

A Fusion of 100 Years of Craftsmanship and Mochimeow's World
Drawn to lychee as one of Taiwan's signature fruits and with a desire to let more people experience Taiwan's rich food culture, KAISHII developed this product.
The Guifei Lychee Cake is a new product born from combining KAISHII's confectionery techniques — cultivated over nearly 100 years of upholding Taiwanese traditional sweets culture — with the worldview of Mochimeow, which aims to be "a bridge connecting Japan and Taiwan."
In addition to the limited-edition packaged product, individual pieces are also available for purchase so that more customers can easily enjoy KAISHII's signature flavors.

About Mochimeow

The anime version is currently streaming exclusively on d Anime Store.
