KLD Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Kenta Ito) is holding a pop-up at Shinpuhkan's 1F POPUP SPACE in Kyoto for four days, from Friday, October 2 to Monday, October 5, 2026.
Background
Under the concept of "QUALITY REUSABLES," KLD's core business isn't simply secondhand distribution — it's about properly evaluating "clothing with a story" and passing each piece on to its next owner.
Rather than buying to fit a set theme, the lineup starts with individual owners who sell or entrust their pieces to KLD, and each item is then edited and curated around the idea of handing it down to the next owner, taking into account its design background, era, and the maker's philosophy.
This pop-up offers a chance to pick up and feel the texture, tailoring, and background of the clothing in person — something that's hard to convey online.
About the Pop-Up
The event will showcase around 400 pieces, including rare archive items KLD has accumulated within Japan.
Main brands handled (men's and women's):
Maison Martin Margiela / HERMES / Celine by Phoebe Philo / Dries Van Noten / BALENCIAGA / COMME des GARCONS / Yohji Yamamoto / ISSEY MIYAKE, and more

About KLD

KLD is a reuse brand centered on high-end fashion, designing a circular business around both buying and selling.
When buying, the brand comprehensively weighs a piece's brand philosophy, collection background, and resale value in the market, valuing not just price but also the seller's sense of satisfaction with the appraisal. When selling, KLD re-edits each piece together with the design and philosophy behind it, presenting it as a piece worth owning for a long time.
Beyond its online-centered reuse business in Japan, KLD has held pop-ups emphasizing curation and spatial design in Tokyo's Omotesando, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Kyoto's Shinpuhkan, as well as in Seoul, South Korea, and Taipei, Taiwan. In April 2026, it opened a permanent store, "KLD TOKYO," in Tokyo's Shibuya.
