Kona's Coffee, a Hawaiian café-restaurant with the concept of "the closest Hawaii," is opening its Natori branch at 163 Takagami Shinmei, Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The new location will be the chain's 55th nationwide (as of the opening date).
Within Miyagi Prefecture, the Rifu branch opened in 2024 and has consistently attracted many guests. Customer feedback has praised the store as a welcoming space for solo visitors, friends, and families alike, with staff who are attentive and accommodating. In response to requests for further expansion in the region, the Natori branch is now opening.
A distinctive feature of the Natori location is its pet-friendly policy: guests are welcome to bring their dogs to both the inner terrace and outdoor terrace areas. The inner terrace is available to customers using pet carts or pet carriers only. Guests bringing dogs are required to follow the "Dog Companion Guidelines" provided upon arrival.

Interior
Inside, the store recreates the feel of a Hawaiian local's living room through a vintage-styled interior with spacious seating. There are no time limits, so guests can relax and take their time. A hula dance stage has also been installed, with event details to be announced via the official website and social media.
Murals by painting artist LOOSEMAN are featured throughout the store, adding to the lively Hawaiian atmosphere.

The Kona's Coffee Experience
Kona's Coffee pursues a "closest Hawaii" dining experience through its Hawaiian café-restaurant concept. Colorful Hawaiian decor, surfboards, and carefully selected furniture create an atmosphere reminiscent of a Hawaiian local's living room, allowing guests to feel the Hawaii vibe without leaving Japan.
Each location follows a "100 stores, 100 designs" philosophy, with unique exterior and interior designs that give regulars a reason to visit different branches. Takeout options and a Hawaiian goods corner stocked with original merchandise and coffee beans are also available.
Fluffy Handmade Pancakes

The pancakes are made from scratch in-store and cooked one by one to order. Using Kona's Coffee's original recipe, each pancake has a fluffy, moist texture with a subtle hint of saltiness, making them a great match for both sweet toppings and savory meal-style preparations.
House-Roasted Coffee

Coffee beans at Kona's Coffee are sourced from Hawaii's Kona region and carefully selected origins worldwide, roasted individually at each store. Beans are ground and brewed cup by cup to order, ensuring maximum aroma and the natural flavor profile of the coffee. Beans are also available for purchase in-store to enjoy the coffee at home.
