About Puella Magi Madoka Magica
"Puella Magi Madoka Magica" is an original anime project created by director Akiyuki Shinbo, scriptwriter Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus), character designer Ume Aoki, and animated by Studio Shaft. The TV anime aired in 2011, and the theatrical film "[New] The Story of Rebellion" was released in 2013, becoming the first late-night anime theatrical release to exceed ¥2 billion in box office revenue.
A new sequel film, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht Rising," is scheduled for release in February 2026, continuing to generate excitement among fans.
