Mori no Beer Garden has opened its 2026 season at Meiji Jingu Gaien (Shinjuku, Tokyo) on Wednesday, April 22. The outdoor BBQ and beer garden venue continues to add new features each year, including prefabricated refrigerator-connected beer and sour servers, insulated mugs that keep drinks cold, a mobile ordering system, and the in-venue CoolMist Line® cooling device to help guests stay comfortable during the summer heat.
New for 2026: Weber Grills and Tarp Tent Areas
This season, Mori no Beer Garden is introducing grills by Weber — widely recognized as the pioneer of the covered grill and a major influence on American BBQ culture — along with tarp tent seating areas that accommodate groups of up to six. Staff are on hand to help first-time Weber grill users get the most out of their experience. The covered grill design locks in high heat to deliver crispy textures and smoky flavors, making it accessible even for BBQ beginners. Each group has its own tarp tent within the lush, open-air setting, offering a distinct escape from everyday life.
After a three-year pause due to aging equipment, the waterfall at the entrance is also returning to operation for 2026, following renovation. Combined with the open atmosphere, the flowing water is designed to offer a cooling respite from the intensifying summer heat.
CoolMist Line® is an original cooling device by Touyoko Support Co., Ltd. that sprays compressed air and a small amount of water as 15-micron fine particles.
New Drinks for 2026
For the first time at Mori no Beer Garden, two happoshu (low-malt beer) varieties are being added to the lineup: Nodogoshi Nama and Tanrei Gokujo Nama. The all-you-can-drink option also continues to feature four craft beer varieties.
Houjun Lager 496

SPRING BREWERY's flagship beer, rich in body yet clean and refreshing on the finish. It uses 1.5 times the malt of Kirin Lager, delivering a full grain flavor and refined hop aroma. Recommended with BBQ and meat dishes.
Silk Ale Shiro

A white ale with fine, creamy foam and a vibrant aroma. It has a silky, smooth mouthfeel and pairs well with grilled vegetables and lighter-flavored dishes.
JAPAN Ale Ko

A pale ale with a fresh, citrus-like aroma, brewed using a portion of rare Japanese-grown hops blended with international varieties. The combination draws out the best qualities of each, resulting in a delicate fragrance, pleasant bitterness, and clean finish.
Jazberry

A fruit beer brewed with malt, hops, and raspberry juice using wine yeast. It features a vibrant ruby color with a pleasant tartness and refreshing character. Much like jazz, it brings together different elements in a harmonious combination.
