All meads are original creations brewed specifically for this collaboration by production staff who studied fermentation at Tokyo University of Agriculture.
Customers who purchase the "Moyasimon Mead Tasting Set" will receive exclusive bonus items: one original ceramic cup and one original stirring stick. The ceramic cup is designed to resemble the enamel tanks used in sake breweries, while the stirring stick features "A. oryzae," a microorganism character from the series. About Moyasimon
"Moyasimon" is a manga series by Masayuki Ishikawa that was serialized from 2004 to 2014. The story follows Tadayasu Sawaki, the second son of a family that produces koji starter (moyashi), who possesses the unique ability to see microorganisms with the naked eye. He enrolls at Tokyo University of Agriculture, where the campus life unfolds with Sawaki, his research laboratory colleagues, and various microorganisms playing active roles in their daily adventures.
