Noboribetsu Sekisuitei, a hot spring inn in Noboribetsu Onsen, Hokkaido, has launched two special plans in collaboration with Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe: a dolphin feeding experience and a King Penguin commemorative photo session.
Dolphin Feeding Experience
Guests staying at Sekisuitei can participate in a dolphin feeding session at Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe. If the experience is cancelled due to the dolphin's health, participants will receive a 1,000 yen park voucher instead.
King Penguin Commemorative Photo
Guests can also enjoy a commemorative photo with a King Penguin. Park staff will use the guest's own smartphone or camera to capture the moment. If the session is cancelled due to inclement weather, a 2,000 yen park voucher will be provided instead.
How to Participate
Both plans are available on the checkout day. Guests receive an exchange ticket from the hotel, which can be swapped for a participation ticket at the park's ticket counter upon arrival. Sekisuitei is currently the only accommodation that allows advance reservations for both of these experiences.
Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe is one of the area's most popular attractions, alongside the Noboribetsu Bear Park and Date Jidai Mura.
