NODERIUM/SØHOLM CAFE Opens on the Third Floor of Jiyugaoka Muse Square

A new combined green shop and café has opened in Tokyo's Jiyugaoka neighborhood. NODERIUM/SØHOLM CAFE held its grand opening on September 17th, 2026, on the third floor of the newly opened Jiyugaoka Muse Square. Created by interior brand ACTUS, the store brings together NODERIUM, an interior-green shop that proposes plant-filled living, and SØHOLM CAFE, a café built around a sense of Nordic comfort.

The combined space is envisioned as "everyone's garden" — a place to enjoy a carefully prepared meal or a cup of coffee, relax as if at home, and discover ideas for bringing that same comfort into daily life.

Plant Area (NODERIUM)

Stepping into the plant area reveals a surprising amount of greenery for an indoor space. Dynamic plants gathered from Japan and abroad grow densely in dedicated corners, branches reach up toward the ceiling, and hanging greenery cascades from overhead — creating a scene made possible by the open, spacious layout shared with the café.

Plant selection

The lineup ranges from plants grown using soil-free "hydroculture" for easy, hygienic care, to symbol trees that anchor a room, and even store-exclusive modern bonsai from Meishoen. Selections span small tabletop pots to large symbol trees, so shoppers can find greenery to suit their space and lifestyle.

Accessories to coordinate with plants

The shop also proposes ways to live with plants through flower vases and garden products built around craftsmanship and material quality.

Henry Dean — handmade glass vases from Belgium, each one individually crafted. Their distinctive texture and warmth highlight the beauty of the plants they hold and stand out as objects in their own right, including a limited run of dead-stock pieces.

YOEN — a brand built around the idea of connecting people and nature, offering pot covers and vases made with sustainable materials and traditional techniques.

Lighting shifts with the natural light across morning, midday, evening, and night, and guests can enjoy coffee and food surrounded by carefully selected Nordic furniture and fresh greenery.
