Ocean Park Hong Kong, one of Asia's leading experiential resorts, is launching a special collaboration event featuring six major Sanrio characters: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and Hangyodon. The "Ocean Park × Sanrio characters 'Marine Wonders'" event runs from Saturday, December 13, 2025 through August 23, 2026.
The event offers visitors an enchanting experience in a fantasy world centered around the deep sea. With festive holiday season decorations and numerous picture-perfect photo spots, guests can enjoy a special winter celebration surrounded by their favorite characters.
Journey to the Mysterious Underwater Kingdom with Sanrio Characters
The adventure begins at Waterfront Plaza. Visitors select their favorite Sanrio character and customize their outfit and items to prepare for the journey. Guided by Ocean Park's marine animal ambassadors, guests proceed through a fantastical underwater light tunnel toward the legendary underwater kingdom.
However, the underwater kingdom faces an energy crisis. Adventurers embark on a mission to restore vibrant colors to the marine world using the "Rainbow Pearl Shell." Photo opportunities with Sanrio characters are available throughout the experience.
The "Sanrio Characters Adventure Pass Blind Pack" allows visitors to enjoy 20 different interactive games themed around the characters as they explore the park. Each game features unexpected surprises, creating an immersive experience throughout the venue. Additionally, guests can meet their favorite Sanrio characters up close and access exclusive limited-edition merchandise.
Ocean Park annual pass members can purchase the "Ocean Park × Sanrio characters Adventure Pass Blind Pack" at a special discounted price, making it more affordable to enjoy adventures with the Sanrio characters.
My Melody & Kuromi Anniversary Event with Y2K Aesthetic
A special event commemorating My Melody's 50th anniversary and Kuromi's 20th anniversary will be held at The Summit plaza.
The venue features a special area incorporating the colorful "Y2K" aesthetic reminiscent of the early 2000s. Guests can enjoy decorations inspired by the era within spaces expressing the worlds of My Melody and Kuromi.
Visitors can move to the rhythm with interactive dance machines or take photos in cute party rooms, fully experiencing both My Melody's adorableness and Kuromi's cool charm.
Pompompurin's 30th Anniversary & More Surprises
Pompompurin, ranked #1 in the 2025 Sanrio Character Ranking worldwide, is approaching its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, a "Birthday Secret Garden Party" for guests is scheduled for February 2026. Additionally, seasonal surprise performances and special benefits for Ocean Park annual pass members are planned, with various programs to be announced sequentially.
Holiday Season Decorations
