Specialties from Oita are coming to Umeda in Osaka. From Sunday, November 1 to Monday, November 30, 2026, the antenna shop "Giftpad space" on the 2nd floor of KITTE Osaka will host "Onsen-ken Oita Fair" (Hot Spring Prefecture Oita Fair), a limited-time antenna shop organized by Oita Prefecture, for one month.
Last Year's Fair
At the previous fair held in August 2025, famous Oita confections such as "Zabieru" (ざびえる) from Zabieru Honpo and "Bondia" (ボンディア) from Kikuya, along with the staple beverage "Tsubura na Kabosu" (つぶらなカボス), were well received. Carefully selected sake, authentic shochu, and rice accompaniments also posted high sales. Female customers made up about 64% of buyers, and the fair drew support from a wide range of generations.
Comments from visitors (excerpt)
