KidZania Tokyo (Koto Ward, Tokyo), KidZania Koshien (Nishinomiya, Hyogo), and KidZania Fukuoka (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka) will hold a Christmas edition of "Otona no KidZania" (大人のキッザニア) in December 2026. The event is open only to guests aged 16 and over. KidZania is a job and social experience facility for children, planned and operated by KCJ GROUP Co., Ltd. (KCJ GROUP 株式会社).
Christmas-Only Programs
Otona no KidZania is held irregularly. It gives more people a chance to understand the KidZania concept of "a town where children are the stars," where visitors learn how society works while having fun through activities (jobs and services).
For the December 2026 Christmas edition, special limited programs such as the following are planned so that guests can spend a memorable Christmas that feels a little different from usual.
- A Santa hat gift
- Dedicated photo props
- Original can badge making, which can be enjoyed during free time
Why the Event Is Being Held
As AI and digital technology become firmly established in society and ways of working diversify, interest is growing in proactive reskilling (learning again) and in opportunities to reconsider one's view of a career. The event is held with the Christmas season, a major milestone of the year, in mind. It aims to help high school and university students, who will lead the next generation, broaden their view of work and discover their own potential, and to offer working adults new opportunities for learning and reskilling.
The event is also designed for people who experienced KidZania in childhood, and for those who want to enjoy a different, out-of-the-ordinary experience with friends. It offers the sense of accomplishment that comes from completing an authentic job experience, and a rare chance to share special memories as a group.
