Piyorin, the iconic Nagoya-born chick-shaped sweet celebrating its 15th anniversary, is making its long-awaited debut in Hokkaido. On April 18 (Saturday) and 19 (Sunday), 2026, the "Piyorin Outing Set" will be sold in limited quantities at a special Aichi/Tokai Fair event held at Aeon Mall Sapporo Hassamu (Nishi-ku, Sapporo).

The fair brings popular Aichi Prefecture foods to Sapporo, along with performances by the "Nagoya Omotenashi Bushotai" (Nagoya's Hospitality Warlords). Piyorin will be available for purchase during the weekend days of the event.

What Is Piyorin?
Piyorin is a fresh, chick-shaped sweet made with pudding from Nagoya Cochin eggs, wrapped in vanilla-scented bavarois, and dusted with powdered sponge cake. It is normally sold at stores inside Nagoya Station and at a manufacturing workshop store in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture.
Piyorin will celebrate its 15th anniversary on July 1, 2026. A new store, "Piyorin Village," is also scheduled to open at the Nagoya Station central concourse in June 2026.
