Pink Floyd / The Dark Side of the Moon

On February 27, 1973, Pink Floyd held a press preview of their eighth studio album The Dark Side of the Moon at a London planetarium. The dome was filled with stars, constellations, and cosmic visuals accompanying the music—an event that drew enormous attention at the time and helped the album go on to sell over 50 million copies worldwide.

Given the album's deep ties to the planetarium format, the venue offers a fitting space for experiencing the fusion of visuals and sound that Pink Floyd pursued from the very beginning of their career. The show brings this enduring classic back to life as a full planetarium presentation.

Queen Heaven is a full-dome film produced in Germany in 2001 under the supervision of Queen guitarist and astronomer Brian May, created after the passing of Freddie Mercury. The show is presented as a "full-dome music show" with fog and lighting effects synchronized to the visuals.

The program features 19 songs, tracing back from "Mother Love"—said to feature Freddie's final recorded vocals—to "Bohemian Rhapsody." With Brian May as guide, the footage and lighting capture the band in their prime, delivering a 360-degree surround-sound experience that puts visitors right in the heart of a live performance.
