RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES Opens in Tokyo on June 12 with Grand Opening 3-Day Celebration

Tokyo Dream Park in Ariake, Tokyo is set to open RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES, Japan's first entry in the internationally acclaimed "Lumières" series of immersive digital art venues, on June 12, 2026 (Friday). To mark the occasion, the complex will host the "Tokyo Dream Park Grand Opening 3Days" event from June 12 (Friday) through June 14 (Sunday), featuring art, food, theater, and music across three days.

What Is RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES?

RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES is the 10th global venue in the "Lumières" series, which includes ATELIER DES LUMIÈRES and other immersive digital art spaces that have drawn large audiences in France and around the world. The name incorporates the word "rêve" — French for "dream" — tying the venue to Tokyo Dream Park's core concept.

Using cutting-edge projection technology and spatial audio systems, RÊVE DES LUMIÈRES brings Van Gogh's paintings to life across the walls and floors of a large exhibition space. Iconic works including "The Starry Night" and "Sunflowers" are projected at scale, enveloping visitors in imagery and sound for a full-sensory art experience.

Grand Opening 3Days Events (June 12–14)

① Visual Takeover Throughout the Building

During the Grand Opening period, Tokyo Dream Park's interior is transformed with Van Gogh-themed visuals. The large LED display at the entrance features imagery inspired by The Starry Night and Sunflowers, while matching visuals appear on the grand staircase and throughout the building.

DREAM TERRACE on the 6th floor hosts special events throughout the 3-day Grand Opening period, along with a pop-up food stall.
