Apple Exhibition "Ringo-gari Kamoshirenai Ten 2026" With 50+ Varieties Returns to Shibuya PARCO on November 14

The annual "Ringo-gari Kamoshirenai Ten 2026" (りんご狩りかもしれない展2026, literally "Might Be Apple Picking Exhibition") will be held at Hobonichiyobi (ほぼ日曜日) on the 8th floor of Shibuya PARCO from Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, December 6, 2026. The event has been held every year since 2021.

A "mysterious apple tree" stands in the middle of the venue, and this year again it bears more than 50 varieties of apples delivered from Iwate. Visitors choose the apples they like, pick them, and enjoy an experience that "might be" apple picking. The apples can also be eaten on the spot. Alongside the apples, the event offers a sour apple juice tasting set, venue-exclusive goods based on illustrations by Shinsuke Yoshitake (ヨシタケシンスケ), and embroidered badges that return for the first time in five years.

More Than 50 Varieties From Iwate

The apples come from Sun Farm (サンファーム) in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, which also supports the event this year. The farm has continued for about 300 years across 11 generations and grows about 140 varieties of apples. From these, apples that are in season will be delivered to the venue, and rare varieties that are hard to find in Tokyo are also planned.

Each apple carries a sticker with its variety name, so visitors can compare the characteristics of each variety as they pick. Prices differ by variety, starting from ¥300 per apple.

Please note the following.

  • Apples arrive in several batches during the event period.
  • As they are agricultural products, plans may change and varieties may sell out.
  • Arrival information for each variety is announced on Hobonichiyobi's X account.

Eat Them on the Spot, Sliced With the Skin On

Apples picked at the venue are cut for free so they are easy to eat on the spot. The recommended way is to slice them into rings with the skin on. Thin rings can be eaten crisp like a snack, right up to the edge of the core.

Sour Apple Juice Tasting Set and Apple Pie

Varietal apple juice from the sour apple specialty shop "すっぱい林檎の専門店。" has been popular alongside the apple picking every year. The juice comes in five levels of sourness, and each differs in sweetness and flavor. At the cafe in the venue, visitors can choose their preferred sourness level. A set that lets visitors compare three different levels is also offered.

The shop's popular apple pie is also available. Its filling uses Kougyoku (紅玉) and Bramley apples from Sun Farm, and the acidity of the Bramley pairs well with the buttery pie crust.

The main visual is once again newly drawn by Shinsuke Yoshitake. The event was planned with inspiration from the title of his best-selling picture book "りんごかもしれない" (It Might Be an Apple). Since the first event in 2021, the visual has featured a child, a middle-aged man, and a grandmother, among others. This year, a "child with glasses" riding in an apple-shaped car appears.

Venue-exclusive acrylic key chains and die-cut stickers based on the illustrations are on sale. Haramaki belly warmers and leg warmers with Yoshitake's "apple" and "girl eating an apple" motifs, sold last year as well, are also available again this year.

Embroidered Badges Return After Five Years

The embroidered badges of "Fuji" and "Kougyoku," first made in the inaugural year of the event, are back after five years. Two types are available: "Fuji," whose skin mixes red and yellow, and "Kougyoku," a slightly smaller, deep-red apple. Both are carefully expressed in embroidery.
