Three early summer limited sweets using seasonal fruits are launching at Kyoto Montblanc specialty shop Saori in spring 2026, pairing melon and loquat (biwa) with the shop's carefully selected Japanese chestnuts (waguri).

Waguri to Kisetsu no Kudamono Parfait – Melon (Seasonal Fruit and Japanese Chestnut Parfait – Melon)
A layered parfait combining the sweetness of melon, its subtle bitterness, and Japanese chestnut. The lower layers incorporate vanilla panna cotta and white wine jelly, offering new flavor combinations to discover as you work your way through the dessert.

Waguri to Kisetsu no Kudamono Tart – Biwa (Seasonal Fruit and Japanese Chestnut Tart – Loquat)
Three elements come together in this tart: the gentle sweetness of loquat, a fragrant and slightly bitter hojicha mousse, and Saori's carefully selected Japanese chestnut, resulting in a soft yet deeply layered flavor. The vivid orange hue of the loquat also makes for a visually striking presentation.

Kanzyuku Melon to Waguri no Kinshi Montblanc (Ripe Melon and Japanese Chestnut Kinshi Mont Blanc)
Lime mousse and Japanese chestnut mousse are layered with two varieties of elegantly fragrant melon, then topped with freshly piped kinshi-style mont blanc that highlights the natural flavor and aroma of the chestnuts. The refreshing lime mousse further draws out the sweetness of the melon and chestnut.
