Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo will hold its 7th anniversary program, "SHIBUYA PARCO 7th Anniversary "BORDER/SHIBUYA"," for 10 days from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 29, 2026. Shibuya is a place where many kinds of "borders," such as those between the city, culture, people, and values, cross and where new culture continues to be born. Starting from Shibuya PARCO, the program offers a variety of events that look beyond these borders and spread the new possibilities and fun born from their intersections to the city and even across national borders.
On the opening day, an Opening Party will take place throughout Shibuya PARCO, with a live show by Satoko Shibata (柴田聡子) × Noridogam, an event curated by Login.jp, and DJ events and special services at a wide range of shops. To mark the anniversary, shops will also offer more than 100 limited and early-release products and menu items.
As a special program, a special exhibition for the magazine POPEYE, which turns 50 this year, will be held at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO on the 4th floor. Along with hands-on exhibits such as a space for browsing past issues and a re-creation of the editorial desk from the magazine's early days, events that convey the world of POPEYE will be held throughout the building, including pop-ups, film screenings, a flea market by editorial staff, and the distribution of a city guide to Shibuya.
Another special program held outside Shibuya PARCO will close the anniversary on the final day. The setting is Shibuya Hyakkendana (渋谷百軒店), often described as a source of Shibuya culture. A special live show will be held at B.Y.G, a long-established rock café in Hyakkendana. At the same time, SUPER DOMMUNE on the 9th floor of Shibuya PARCO will stream a talk program that traces the history of Shibuya culture starting from Hyakkendana, linking two different cultural hubs of Shibuya through a streaming space.
At PBOX STND on the 10th floor, daily events by a wide range of artists and brands, including Shuta Hasunuma (蓮沼執太), YOSHIROTTEN, kolor, and BYREDO, will follow the Satoko Shibata × Noridogam special live on the first day. An interview with GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE, who created the anniversary key visual, and rapper Tohji will also be published, and pop-ups making their Shibuya PARCO debut will include brands new to Japan and designer visits. Projects spanning fashion, music, food, and art come together for these 10 special days.

SHIBUYA PARCO / Hyakkendana
Shibuya Hyakkendana (渋谷百軒店) is a district where old-fashioned charm and contemporary culture intersect. Since the 1920s, many shops and people have gathered there, nurturing a unique atmosphere not bound by existing values through music, film, cafés, theater, and more. The free spirit that Hyakkendana nurtured has been passed on to the streets of Shibuya and to Shibuya PARCO, and has been a source of diverse cultural output, including fashion. As Shibuya PARCO adopts "BORDER/SHIBUYA" as its 7th anniversary theme, a variety of programs will cross the borders between Hyakkendana and Shibuya PARCO and expand the future of Shibuya as a city of culture.

Minetaro Mochizuki Exhibition "Graphism"

This exhibition by 渋谷スペイン坂編集室, a new project by PARCO and Kodansha, traces the evolution of the creative work of manga artist Minetaro Mochizuki (望月ミネタロウ) from the viewpoint of graphism (that is, visual expression).
From among his many works, the exhibition focuses on three of different genres and eras: 『バタアシ金魚』, 『ドラゴンヘッド』, and 『東京怪童』. Through original drawings from each work, it takes another look at how each form of expression was born, how it resonated with its time, and how it connects to the present. The exhibition aims to let visitors rediscover the appeal of a single artist and to prompt thinking about the richness and possibilities of Japanese manga expression.
A special program is planned to be streamed on SUPER DOMMUNE on Friday, November 20.

DJs, musicians, and performers with distinct personalities will step slightly outside their own fields in a space where different cultures and values intersect. A T-shirt project is also newly launching, with original T-shirts sold in limited quantities.

"BORDER/SHIBUYA" Key Visual

Contemporary artist GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE was chosen for the key visual of SHIBUYA PARCO 7th Anniversary "BORDER/SHIBUYA." The visual captures the various people who were in the space in front of Shibuya PARCO one day, along with new memories of the city.
Comment from the artist
Asked what they felt while creating the key visual, the artist said:
I was glad to be able to create the visual for the 7th anniversary of Shibuya PARCO, where I used to go as a customer.
Asked why they chose a "group photo" for the theme "BORDER/SHIBUYA," the artist said:
Group photos are often taken within a single community, such as a school or a company. This time, I thought that people from many different communities could gather on the spot at the moment of the shoot and fit into a single frame, and that this would let us jumble together the borders (BORDER) between them.
PARCO PEOPLE

Tohji and GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE have each pursued their own expression, in music and contemporary art respectively. They have collaborated across each other's work: Tohji has appeared in 「獸」, an art project led by GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE, and GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE has directed the stage production for Tohji's arena concert.
For the 7th anniversary, a conversation has been arranged between Tohji and GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE, who created the key visual for Shibuya PARCO's 7th anniversary. They talk about the cityscape of Shibuya under redevelopment, the relationship between the city and culture, their childhoods and the origins of their creative work, as well as the present and future of Tokyo and what culture will look like going forward.
Interview: Tohji × GILLOCHINDOX☆GILLOCHINDAE, "A Smooth City and Rough Emotions - The Origins of Creation and the Future of the City"
Scheduled for publication: Monday, November 9, 11:00 AM
salamanda for SHIBUYA PARCO '11-2

The background music inside Shibuya PARCO is selected by Salamanda (サラマンダ), an ambient and electronic duo based in Seoul, South Korea. Made up of Uman Therma (Sala) and Yetsuby (Manda), Salamanda is a duo to watch that finds beauty in all the sounds around them and weaves together playful rhythms, delicate electronic sounds, and dreamlike soundscapes.
Playlists will run for four months, from November 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027, divided into two periods, November to December and January to February, each with a different playlist. Their free-spirited selections, which evoke the changing of the seasons, will color the space of Shibuya PARCO.
