SIROTAN Funwari Store Opens on Kamakura's Komachi-dori Street on December 4

A new directly operated store for the original character SIROTAN, "SIROTAN Funwari Store Kamakura Komachi-dori," opens on Friday, December 4, 2026, on Kamakura Komachi-dori Street, a popular sightseeing spot in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. The store is run by Creative Yoko Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture) and features a Japanese-style design.

A New Base for Promoting the Brand in Japan and Overseas

Kamakura welcomes about 16.06 million visitors a year (2025 figure published by the Tourism Division, Citizens' Disaster Prevention Department, Kamakura City). With easy access from central Tokyo, it is a popular destination for domestic and international travelers with a wide range of interests, from pop-culture pilgrimages to traditional culture and nature.

Creative Yoko is currently working to further raise awareness of the SIROTAN brand and character IP, using the TV anime adaptation as an opportunity. By opening a store on Komachi-dori Street, where tourists come and go, the company aims to reach not only anime fans but also a broad audience drawn to SIROTAN's soothing appeal. It also intends to meet demand for tourist-area gifts and travel keepsakes while sharing the brand's appeal with audiences in Japan and overseas.

A Japanese-Style Store Design That Blends into Historic Kamakura

The store adopts a special Japanese-style design that harmonizes with the atmosphere of the ancient capital of Kamakura and the atmospheric streetscape of Komachi-dori Street. Panels of SIROTAN and friends dressed in Japanese attire are placed throughout the store, creating a space that can only be experienced here.
