A new vintage from Suntory's Japanese wine brand "SUNTORY FROM FARM" is on the way. "SUNTORY FROM FARM Kaminoyama Chardonnay 2025" will be released nationwide in limited quantities starting Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Suntory has built its winemaking philosophy around the concept that "great wine comes from great grapes," dedicating over a century to understanding Japan's climate and soil while honing its cultivation and brewing techniques. Under the brand concept of "FROM FARM — everything starts in the vineyard," the company focuses on careful craftsmanship to elevate wine quality.
This release features 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in Kaminoyama City, Yamagata Prefecture — a region well known as a producer of various kinds of fruit. The wine benefits from the area's significant diurnal temperature variation and well-draining soil, resulting in a white wine with a sweet, La France pear-like aroma and well-ripened fruit character.
