A new amusement facility is opening in Shinjuku's Kabukicho district on March 20, 2026 (Friday). Taito Station Shinjuku Kabukicho, located along Yasukuni-dori at the entrance of Kabukicho, will serve as the third Taito Station in the Shinjuku area.
The multi-level facility spans four floors and features 147 machines with 383 booths of crane games, including a wide selection of popular mini crane games alongside the latest and fan-favorite prizes.
A pre-opening is scheduled for March 17 (Tuesday), with floors 2 through 4 accessible before the full grand opening.
A Multi-Level Crane Game Destination at the Heart of Kabukicho
Positioned right at the Kabukicho entrance along Yasukuni-dori, the facility focuses on crane games — a category currently experiencing its so-called "fourth boom" in Japan. The ground floor is dedicated to mini crane games, while all four floors are packed with a range of machines catering to both casual players and prize enthusiasts.
Welcoming International Visitors
Kabukicho draws a significant number of overseas tourists, and the facility is set up to accommodate them. English-language signage (POPs) will be available throughout the store, creating a comfortable environment for international visitors to enjoy Japan's unique game center culture.

With this opening, there are now three Taito Station locations in Shinjuku, each with its own distinct character:
