Times SPA RESTA in Ikebukuro Teams Up with Healing Music Label DELLA for a Relaxation Experience Starting May 20

Times SPA RESTA, an upscale adult spa facility in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Tokyo, is launching a collaboration with DELLA, a healing music and video label dedicated to promoting health and well-being through sound. Running from May 20 to September 27, 2026, the program combines DELLA's healing music and nature video content with Times SPA RESTA's signature sensory relaxation environment to help guests unwind on a deeper level.

The collaboration covers three areas: an outdoor bath healing experience with nature visuals and music, body care treatments accompanied by therapeutic BGM, and an original Spotify playlist for listening outside the spa.

Healing Outdoor Bath Experience with Visuals and Music

Large monitors installed in both the men's and women's outdoor baths will display DELLA's healing music paired with natural scenery—refreshing ocean footage accompanied by carefully composed soundscapes. Guests can soak in the bath while watching the flowing visuals, helping them forget the noise of the city and fully settle into the warmth of the water.

The outdoor relaxation area, furnished with comfortable lounge chairs, offers an additional space to feel the open air while taking in the combination of visuals, music, and natural breeze. This "Healing Gaiyoku" (healing outdoor air bathing) experience is designed to guide guests into a deeper state of calm.

CDs of the music used in the spa are also available for purchase at the front desk.

Body Care Treatments with Mind-and-Body-Relaxing BGM

During treatments at Body Care "Boga" and Oil Care "FUNSAI," DELLA's "mind-and-body-relaxing" music will play throughout each session. The music is formulated to support relief from lower back pain and shoulder stiffness, and incorporates natural sounds such as birdsong and flowing water. Combining music-based relaxation with hands-on bodywork is expected to heighten the overall therapeutic effect.

According to DELLA's research, a survey of 3,565 people experiencing lower back pain found that listening to the music was associated with improvements in pain levels, stress levels, degree of relaxation, and mental state.

Three original playlists created in collaboration between Times SPA RESTA and DELLA are available on Spotify via DELLA's account. Each playlist captures the actual BGM played inside the spa during different times of day—morning, afternoon, and evening—making it possible to recreate a relaxing spa mood at home, during work breaks, or in the bath.
