Starting September 11, 2026, the north-facing floor on the 2nd level of Tokyo Tower's Main Deck becomes the stage for "TOKYO TOWER CITY LIGHT FANTASIA," a projection mapping event that this time collaborates specially with the anime SEKIRO: NO DEFEAT. Creative company NAKED, INC. is handling the direction and production of the show.
A Hand-Drawn 2D World Rises Over the Night Skyline
SEKIRO: NO DEFEAT is a fully hand-drawn 2D animation that has drawn attention on the festival circuit, screening in the Midnight Special section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival 2026 and the Animation Plus section of the Fantasia International Film Festival.
For this event, the night view stretching out from Tokyo Tower's Main Deck is combined with cutting-edge lighting design. The film's intense sword fights and action sequences are projected across the windows, letting visitors relive the story's fierce battles in an immersive space accompanied by powerful sound.
The venue will also screen visuals from "TOKYO TOWER CITY LIGHT FANTASIA – Halloween Party 2026" alongside the collaboration.
