The fifth specially drawn character visual for the upcoming ice show Touken Ranbu - ICE BLADE - has been revealed: "Kashuu Kiyomitsu: Image on Ice Ver." The show is scheduled to run at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium in October 2026, and ticket lottery applications are currently open until June 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Beauty for the Beloved — Taking the Silver Ice
The newly unveiled "Kashuu Kiyomitsu: Image on Ice Ver." is a specially drawn illustration created by the original staff of Touken Ranbu ONLINE for this production.
Kashuu Kiyomitsu is a tachi (long sword) attributed to Kaga Province swordsmith Kiyomitsu, known as the beloved sword of Okita Souji, the first squad captain of the Shinsengumi. Reportedly wielded during the fierce battle at the Ikedaya Incident, the blade is celebrated for its sharp edge and extraordinary beauty.
True to his words — "I keep myself pretty, so please take care of me" — Kashuu Kiyomitsu is always meticulous about his appearance, adorning and polishing himself out of deep affection and confidence in being cherished. Beneath his flamboyant bearing lies the fierce pride of a sword that cut through a turbulent era. The visual captures a supreme moment on the silver ice where his charm and sharpness intersect.
Kashuu Kiyomitsu is shown gliding across the rink with ice crystals sparkling around him, his elegant costume flowing as he moves. The image conveys the speed and immediacy unique to figure skating, drawing viewers into the world of the "rink of the honmaru."
A Special Costume for the Performance
The released image is a conceptual illustration. For the live performance, a specially designed skating costume will be presented.
The show's challenge is "overwhelming speed" and "physical expression on ice." Audiences can look forward to the "flash" of the Touken Danshi racing across the ice in all directions.
