Umeda Sky Building announces its Christmas illumination event "UMEDA SKY BUILDING Christmas 2025" running from November 14th (Friday) to December 25th (Thursday), 2025.
Ahead of the special website launch on October 10th (Friday), 2025, we bring you an early preview of this year's Christmas event highlights.
The impressive symbol tree, standing approximately 25 meters tall and covered with around 130,000 LEDs, will once again be surrounded by charming hüttes (small wooden huts) that enhance the Christmas atmosphere.
This year's theme is "THE CIRCUS OF LIGHT ～Fantasy Circus Sparkling in the Night Sky～".
The event presents a vibrant and adorable daytime circus alongside a beautiful nighttime circus emerging from the darkness.
Experience a fantastical world created by animals displaying different expressions between day and night, complemented by a warm and nostalgic Christmas market.
Wonder Square Christmas - This Year's Highlights
POINT 1: Sound and Light Show Time
Umeda Sky Building's symbol tree offers different performances depending on when you visit.
Building on last year's well-received two-part structure, this year features an even more enhanced three-part program.

■ November 22nd (Saturday) - November 30th (Sunday): Special Program 2
Through artist collaborations, illuminations inspired by famous songs will once again make their appearance.

From December, the illuminations will express this year's Umeda Sky Building Christmas theme "THE CIRCUS OF LIGHT ～Fantasy Circus Sparkling in the Night Sky～" through music and light.
POINT 2: Main Visual Design
Illustrator Emi Webber returns from last year to create this year's main visual.
Her fantastical and warm artistic style perfectly captures this year's theme "THE CIRCUS OF LIGHT ～Fantasy Circus Sparkling in the Night Sky～" in vibrant colors.
POINT 3: Limited Edition Original Mug Cups
The original mug cups that were extremely popular last year return with new designs illustrated by Emi Webber!
Matching this year's theme, two different designs are available: "Daytime Circus" and "Nighttime Circus."
These original mug cups are available in limited quantities and will be sold until supplies last, so early arrival is recommended.
POINT 4: Wonder Christmas Marche
The Christmas market "Wonder Christmas Marche" returns to the 1st floor plaza "Wonder Square."
The hüttes surrounding the symbol tree will offer original recipe glühwein and kinderwein, warm soups, carefully crafted Christmas foods, and various goods.
Look forward to a marché that satisfies both your stomach and soul.

From the Sky Garden Observatory at 173 meters above ground, visitors can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views in an open-air environment. The attraction offers varying scenes throughout the day, from sunsets over the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge to glittering nighttime cityscapes of high-rise buildings.
