Maizuru City is hosting a winter-limited guided tour called "Maizuru Red Brick Guided Tour."
The red brick warehouse complex was built between 1902 and 1918 as storage facilities for naval munitions and torpedoes during the former Imperial Japanese Navy era. Today, these structures are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan and are cherished as historic landmarks representing Maizuru.

During this tour, a guide leads visitors through the Red Brick Park while explaining the history of Maizuru and the origins and roles of the red brick warehouses. The tour includes access to normally restricted areas, making it a special winter-only experience.
History enthusiasts and first-time visitors to Maizuru will both enjoy this experiential tour.
