Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is launching its 2026 summer holiday special campaign, the "Even-More-Ken-Matsudaira-Covered Island Summer Siege," starting Saturday, July 18. The "Ken Matsudaira-Covered Amusement Park" becomes even more covered in Ken Matsudaira, evolving into the "Even-More-Ken-Matsudaira-Covered Amusement Park," while the aquarium and hands-on areas also join in, putting Ken Matsudaira in charge of the entire island.
The "Even-More-Ken-Matsudaira-Covered Island Summer Siege" has already been picked up by plenty of news outlets and on social media, and now the full details for this summer are being revealed for the first time.

Campaign Overview
Ken Matsudaira and Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise are teaming up again. During Golden Week, their collaboration, the "Ken Matsudaira-Covered Amusement Park," became a huge hit and drew heavy crowds (the Ken Matsudaira Train saw waits of up to an hour). After receiving many requests for a longer run, this summer the amusement park evolves further into the "Even-More-Ken-Matsudaira-Covered Amusement Park," complete with new attractions (to be announced July 30, opening August 1). With the summer heat in mind, the Ken Matsudaira takeover also expands into the aquarium. In short, it all comes together as the "Even-More-Ken-Matsudaira-Covered Island Summer Siege," with Ken Matsudaira taking over the whole of Hakkeijima.
*The Golden Week "Ken Matsudaira takeover" features continue as they are, with even more being added this summer.
The campaign builds an extreme world where "Ken Matsudaira is everywhere you look" and "Ken Matsudaira Samba plays no matter what you do." From the moment visitors step inside, they're wrapped in Ken Matsudaira through everything they see, hear, and experience, in what's billed as an "over-immersive entertainment space." Numerous features raise the "Ken Matsudaira concentration" the more visitors take part, creating an unusual immersive experience where "before you know it, there's no escaping Ken Matsudaira all day." It's a theme park dominated by Ken Matsudaira like never before, blending laughter with bewilderment.
