A new cultural complex dedicated to Yomitan Village's traditional crafts and cuisine opened on January 20, 2026. YOMITAN GARDEN by THE TERRACE HOTELS combines a gallery and shop showcasing local pottery with a dining establishment serving authentic Okinawan soba.

The Terrace Hotels Co., Ltd. developed this facility to preserve and promote Yomitan Village's artistic traditions while creating a space where various connections can flourish through craftsmanship, art, and design culture.

This cultural experience gallery and shop fuses Yomitan Village's traditional crafts with contemporary sensibilities. The permanent exhibition area displays and sells works from local artists and workshops throughout Yomitan Village, while the special exhibition area hosts seasonal exhibitions and events.

The inaugural exhibition features works from the Jiro Kiln lineage, showcasing pieces by the late Jiro Kinjo, who made significant contributions to Okinawan ceramic culture, as well as current artists continuing creative work at the Jiro Kiln. (January 20 to February 11)

The Hon Soki Soba Set featuring traditional pork rib soba, juushi (Okinawan rice), and local side dishes

This dining establishment offers Okinawan soba and cafe menu items served in warm yachimun pottery. Guests can choose between traditional wood ash soba or original fresh noodles with a smooth texture, both incorporating wheat from Yomitan Village.

The cafe menu features purple sweet potato cheesecake and scones, paired with distinctive Okinawan teas like sanpin tea and gettou tea, along with brown sugar lattes for a relaxing afternoon experience.
