From July 30 to August 12, 2026, the Kyoto Museum of Crafts and Design is accepting Daimonji gomagi, the wooden prayer tablets burned each year during Kyoto Gozan Okuribi, at a special reception corner inside the museum. It is the first time advance reception has been offered away from the foot of Mt. Daimonji, with bilingual Japanese/English writing guidance available.
