The shoes will be available for pre-sale at the ASICS Online Store starting February 5th, in ASICS directly-managed stores (excluding factory outlets) from February 12th, and at sports equipment retailers. They will also be sold at the Tokyo Marathon EXPO 2026 venue from February 26th to 28th.
The manufacturer's suggested retail price is ¥20,900 (tax included) for the NOVABLAST 5 TOKYO and ¥26,400 (tax included) for the GEL-NIMBUS 28 TOKYO.
These limited edition shoes are based on representative ASICS brand models, incorporating orange accents from the Tokyo Marathon 2026 theme colors. The upper and midsole feature bold graphics inspired by the Japanese word "ibuki" (breath), with design inspiration drawn from traditional Japanese craft techniques of pattern cutting. The heel and insole are emblazoned with the word "TOKYO."

About the NOVABLAST 5
The NOVABLAST 5 is a running shoe that pursues an exhilarating running experience, with a voluminous design that immediately conveys lightness and excellent bounce. The shoe features a distinctive indentation in the center of the sole that allows for easier deformation under load, creating a trampoline-like bouncing sensation as the restoring force acts on the deformed material. The entire midsole uses the lightweight and highly resilient cushion foam material "FF BLAST MAX," which offers approximately 8.5% improved bounce compared to the previous model's cushion foam.
