Azabudai Hills in Minato Ward, Tokyo, holds the "Azabudai Hills Christmas Market 2026" from Saturday, November 21 to Friday, December 25, 2026. The market is part of "CHRISTMAS HILLS 2026," the Christmas program at five Hills properties that starts on Thursday, November 5, and 19 shops selling Christmas gourmet food and goods take part.
Four merchandise shops return, including the German Christmas goods specialist Käthe Wohlfahrt, a perennial favorite, and POPMOTTO, which sells postcards, mugs, and other items with Christmas designs. These popular shops from past Christmas markets gather again, and each prepares gift sets and wrapping suited to Christmas presents.
The 15 food and drink shops include 5 first-time participants, and dishes from around the world gather in one place again this year. Frites Bruges, a Belgian frites specialty shop in Asakusa, Tokyo, that is certain to draw a line, makes its debut with fluffy Belgian frites made from domestic potatoes, a good fit for the cold season. DEMMERS TEEHAUS, headquartered in Vienna, Austria, also joins for the first time and serves authentic Sachertorte and hot spiced drinks.
Popular shops inside Azabudai Hills appear again too. Dining 33 offers the menu of vegetables and sausage topped with plenty of raclette cheese that was well received last year, and the chocolate specialty shop Minimal - Bean to Bar Chocolate -, highly rated at international competitions, serves a chocolate stollen with a new flavor. Some shops also offer a lunch set available only at weekday lunchtime, share sets for groups, and mulled wine pot service, so the market suits many occasions.
Beyond the market, the whole district takes on a Christmas mood. A Christmas tree and lighting appear along Sakuraasa-dori Street (桜麻通り), an installation stands in the plaza in front of Kamiyacho Station, and the Azabudai Hills Market food hall lines up chicken and other items for Christmas parties, while sweets shops stock Christmas cakes.

A. Käthe Wohlfahrt
One of the largest Käthe Wohlfahrt stores in the Kanto area returns this year. The German Christmas goods specialist stocks many items sold only at Azabudai Hills, with a wide lineup that includes original Advent calendars, ornaments, and snow globes.

B. Dolce & Gabbana × Fiasconaro
Two Italian brands collaborate on traditional Christmas sweets from Milan, Italy, such as panettone and nougat, packed in colorful tins. Alongside the panettone with raisins and orange peel, a new panettone combining pistachio and white chocolate appears this year.

C. BALLON

G. GOOD GOOD MEAT
The shop produces its meat in Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture, and in Hokkaido under the standard of "meat we want to eat ourselves and feed to our families," resulting in healthy, delicious meat raised in a sustainable environment. For the market, the shop prepares Christmas-market-limited roast chicken made with bone-in thigh meat and a beef stew made with Kumamoto-grown Akaushi beef.

H. Frites Bruges – First-time participant
Founded in May 2021, this is Japan's first Belgian frites specialty shop, using 100% raw potatoes delivered directly from selected domestic farms and keeping to the traditional Belgian method. The frites are fried twice, giving a crisp outside and a soft inside.

I. HOCUS POCUS
A donut specialty shop. Under the theme of delivering donuts nobody has tasted before, it uses frying, baking, and steaming methods and stocks hand-portable sweets centered on cake-like donuts, along with fried donuts, steamed donuts, and churros.

M. Minimal - Bean to Bar Chocolate -

N. DEMMERS TEEHAUS – First-time participant
A tea brand from Vienna, Austria, founded in 1981, which has had a shop in Roppongi since 2008. The menu includes the Sachertorte popular at its café and Apfelstrudel, a traditional Austrian apple pastry. Christmas-limited drinks include Apple Punsch (アップルプンシュ), a hot drink of apple juice with spices, and mulled wine.

O. BREZEL KING
A specialty shop for German dishes and for freshly baked German pretzels containing fermented butter, created by German chef Marcus. P. German Christmas Drink Stand
A German Christmas drink specialty stand by German chef Marcus. The mulled wine imported directly from Germany comes in a rare 100% apple type and a 100% grape type, and a non-alcoholic version is also available. Q. CAFÉ & BAR B
A café and bar on the first floor of "FREUDE by BMW," the BMW brand store inside Azabudai Hills. It prepares German flavors with Japanese sensibility and ingredients. For the market, the shop serves two kinds of roast chicken scented with herbs and spices as the main dish, along with a cheese potage and a chunk cookie reminiscent of stollen. Craft beer pairs with the roast chicken and hot tea with the sweet cookie.

A crepe and coffee shop with locations in Tokyo, Karuizawa, and Kyoto. Under the concept "Simple, so we care about the ingredients," it aims to bring out the natural flavor of its ingredients. The shop's most popular classic crepe is made with a batter of pesticide-free wheat, crunchy Kikai Island sugar, and gentle grass-fed butter.

Christmas Programs Across Azabudai Hills
Sakuraasa-dori Street Lighting (桜麻通りライトアップ)
For the first time, the street lined with trees called Sakuraasa-dori, which runs from the Garden Plaza to the Central Plaza, is lit up. Warm champagne-gold light guides visitors from Kamiyacho Station, one of the nearest stations to Azabudai Hills, to the Central Plaza where the market is held. A Christmas tree also stands at Garden Plaza B and works as a photo spot.

Azabudai Hills Christmas Installation
An original video installation is shown at the station plaza, the gateway to Azabudai Hills, which connects directly to Kamiyacho Station. It was created by the illustrator of this year's artwork, ダニエル・バレット, and 日本デザインセンター三澤デザイン研究室. The key message is "Bi, Bi, Di, Bo, Bi, Di, You.", words for sending a wish to someone dear. Giving joy to one another lights a warm glow in the heart, and the installation offers that special Christmas moment.

wish a wish: Send a Happy Christmas Message to Someone Dear
"wish a wish" returns this year, letting visitors send a Christmas message to someone dear, or to themselves, that arrives one year later. Write a message to someone dear on an original Christmas card purchased at Azabudai Hills or Roppongi Hills and drop it into the special mailbox, and the letter is delivered from Azabudai Hills and Roppongi Hills at Christmas one year later.
