Bikkuri Donkey, the hamburger steak restaurant chain operated by Aleph Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Sapporo, Hokkaido), is bringing back its "Tomato Bursting Hamburg" fair with four menu items starting Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
This year, three items are making their debut: the "Garlic-Scented Tomato Cream Hamburg Dish," featuring two kinds of cheese and a delicate hint of garlic cream that stirs the appetite; the "Diced Tomato & Jumbo Shrimp Fry Omu-Hamburg Dish," topped with a jumbo shrimp fry; and the side dish "Diced Tomato Garlic Spicy Potatoes." The "Diced Tomato Omu-Hamburg Dish" also returns for a second year running.
The fair's tomato-based menu combines a packed, savory flavor with a refreshing tang, making for a light, satisfying taste that's well suited to the hot summer months.
Diced Tomato Omu-Hamburg Dish
A tomato sauce packed with chunky diced tomato is draped in silky, soft-set egg, delivering the mild sweetness and tang of tomato in every bite.
Garlic-Scented Tomato Cream Hamburg Dish (New)
Tomato cream and cheese come together in a rich, deep harmony, while a delicate hint of garlic cream stirs the appetite in this brand-new dish.
Diced Tomato & Jumbo Shrimp Fry Omu-Hamburg Dish (New)
Building on the Diced Tomato Omu-Hamburg Dish, this hearty option is topped with a jumbo shrimp fry made from a whole shrimp. Enjoy it generously coated in the original tomato sauce.
Diced Tomato Garlic Spicy Potatoes (New)
Fluffy spicy potatoes are combined with the tanginess of tomato and the flavor of garlic cream, creating a moreish new side dish.

- S, M, and L refer to hamburg patty sizes: S = 150g, M = 200g, and L = 300g.
- Rice can be substituted with cauliflower rice (no large/small size option) for an additional ¥110 (tax included).
- Rice portion size can be adjusted: a large serving for an additional ¥130 (tax included), or a small serving for a ¥40 (tax included) discount.
- The dish salad can be upgraded to a large portion for an additional ¥200 (tax included).
- Optional toppings can be added to the hamburg: egg or grated daikon with shiso for ¥150 (tax included) each, or cheese (2 pieces) or pineapple for ¥200 (tax included) each.
- Cheese topping is limited to up to 4 pieces on the Diced Tomato Omu-Hamburg Dish and the Diced Tomato & Jumbo Shrimp Fry Omu-Hamburg Dish, and up to 2 pieces on the Garlic-Scented Tomato Cream Hamburg Dish.
