Cafe comme ca, operated by Comsa Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Five Foxes Co., Ltd., located in Shinagawa, Tokyo), offers art-inspired cakes using carefully selected seasonal fruits from farms across Japan, allowing guests to experience the four seasons of Japan.
From January 16, 2026 to February 14, 2026, Cafe comme ca will feature a special cake showcasing Kumamoto-grown Yūbeni strawberries. Yūbeni was born in Kumamoto in 2015, the "Strawberry (15) Year" that comes only once in a century. This spring marks the 10th anniversary of its birth, and the special cake is themed around bonds and gratitude. The vibrant red Yūbeni strawberries paired with Japanese black tea represent the "red" of Kumamoto, the Land of Fire, creating a cake that celebrates the bounty of Kumamoto Prefecture. At the Ueno Matsuzakaya store, a special event featuring Kumamon will be held to promote Yūbeni strawberries.
